12月8日、世界最高齢のコアホウドリのウィズダムがミッドウェイ環礁国立自然保護区に戻ってきたと発表された。
足輪を1956年につけたウィズダムは現在71歳で、去年も70歳で卵を産んで雛をかえした。
ウィズダムが戻ってきたというニュースに、SNSでは 「お帰りなさい女王」「私の両親より年上だ」など喜びや歓迎の声が投稿されている。
