秋の交通安全運動に合わせ、交通安全を掲げる「通学路戦士パトーラ」が、福岡県内の警察署の一日署長に任命された。
12年前、交通事故でいとこと、お腹の赤ちゃんが亡くなり、 村岡麗奈さんはそれを機に、登下校の見守り活動等を行っている。
彼女は「事故の怖さは誰よりも知っているので、自分の経験を踏まえて二度と同じことが起きてほしくないと思いながら活動したい」と語った。
