スイスのベルナーアルプスでこのほど、ジェームズ・ボンドの映画で有名になった山頂の回転レストランまでの絶景のケーブルカーが開通した。
これまでの勾配の記録は110%だったが、製造メーカーによると、このケーブルカーの勾配は１５９．４％でわずか４分間で７７５メートル上昇する。
このケーブルカーはラウターブルンネンの渓谷を登り、シュテッヘルベルク村から車の通らない海抜約１６５０メートルのミューレン村迄結ぶ。
