広島県呉市でピザ職人を目指す11歳の少年がイタリアのナポリで開催されている「ピザ作りの世界大会」で見事優勝した。
成本豊穂くんはピザ職人の父・豊さんに憧れ、ピザ作りに熱中する小学6年生で、毎朝5時に起きて、親子二人三脚で修業している。
彼は「ナポリピッツァ職人世界選手権ジュニア部門」に出場し並み居る強豪を押さえ、日本人として初めてジュニアチャンピオンになった。
