昨年8月に優勝した妹・千怜に続く初勝利で、国内レギュラーツアーでは男女通じて史上初の双子優勝となった。
彼女は「本当にうれしい。妹が初優勝して、自分も優勝できるのかなと思っていた。信じられない気持ちです」と優勝者インタビューで語った。
