英国の動物園が、来園客の食事や動物の餌を奪うカモメたちの迷惑行為に対抗するため、鳥の着ぐるみを着てカモメを追い払うカモメ抑止係の人材を募集している。
抑止係の採用条件は単純明快で、愛想が良く社交的、エネルギッシュで柔軟で、当然ながら鳥の着ぐるみを快く着られる人材でなければならない。
カモメ抑止係は５人を採用予定で、そのうちの１人は深夜番組「レイト×２ショー」で司会を務めたジェームズ・コーデンさんにブラックプール動物園はTwitterで転職を持ちかけたという。
