去年12月、熊本県山鹿市で行方不明者の発見に貢献した警察犬のジゲン号に、感謝状が贈られた。
ジゲン号は、行方不明となった翌朝の8時半から捜査に加わり、約3時間後、足場が悪く見通しの利かない山間部で、においを頼りに女性を発見したということだ。
ジゲン号は2024年も行方不明者を発見しているスゴ腕…いや、スゴ鼻の警察犬で、今回感謝状とジャーキー1kgが贈られた。
