新潟県佐渡市で“はんが”の甲子園が行われ、 全国から13校が“3人1組で作品を作り上げた。
大会事務局の男性は「高校生達が昼ご飯も食べないで頑張ってくれているのが愛おしい。このあとの提出が非常に楽しみ」と語った。
審査の結果、網を鎖状に交差させ、佐渡市民のつながりなどを表現した神奈川県代表の作品『アミ』が最高賞に選ばれた。
