深川駅と石狩沼田駅を結ぶＪＲ留萌線は31日廃線になり、この週末石狩沼田駅の前ではイベントが開かれていた。
２８日は店も出て、留萌線の駅ごとに作られた缶バッジなどオリジナルグッズも売られていて、全国から訪れたファンでにぎわった。
留萌線最後の運行となる3月３１日には、石狩沼田駅、秩父別駅、深川駅でお別れセレモニーが開かれる。
