甲斐市にオープンした「山梨いちごの王さまミュージアム サンリオ創業者 辻信太郎記念館」は『みんななかよく』をテーマに作られたミュージアムだ。
「サンリオ歴史館」のエントランスにはキャラクター2000体の高さ7mのモニュメントがあり、奥にはいちご新聞が読める機械もある。
このほか、ハローキティ家電やバービー人形などとコラボレーションした貴重なアイテムも展示されていて、サンリオキャラクターの歴史を伺い知ることができる。
