スポーツ感覚でキャベツの収穫を楽しんでもらおうというイベントが11月15日に静岡県磐田市で開かれ、青空のもと参加者が心地の良い汗を流した。
参加者は一番重いキャベツを探し当てる種目や収穫したキャベツの重さが年間消費量の4人分に相当する23.6キロにどれだけ近いか競う種目に取り組んだ。
収穫したキャベツを2分間の制限時間内にどれだけ落とさずに抱えることができるかを競う種目もあり、最高記録は32個だった。
