長崎県諫早市の高校生が諫早市で収穫されたレモンとオレンジの交配種「マイヤーレモン」をまるごと使ったレモンジャムを開発した。
ジャムは諫早農業高校の食品科学部の生徒が道の駅や地元の果樹園とタッグを組み、約半年かけて完成させた。
諫早農業高校の高校生によると「レモンを丸ごと利用することによって、ほぼ廃棄物ゼロ、持続可能な商品が完成した」ということだ。
