イギリスのダラム大学の研究で母親の食べる物で胎児の表情が変わる事が分かった。
エコーの画像では、母親がニンジンの錠剤を飲んだ胎児達は笑顔を見せ、母親がケールの錠剤を飲んだ胎児の顔は泣き顔になっていた。
胎児の表情が味に反応を示した研究は世界初である。
