熊本地震の為一部の区間で運休していた南阿蘇鉄道が、7年ぶりに全線で運転を再開した。
高森駅で15日の午前6時に、立野駅に向かう始発の列車が、ホームで手を振る大勢の人たちに見送られながら出発した。
乗客は、車窓に広がる阿蘇の雄大な山々や、地震で被災して架け替えられた第一白川橋梁からの景色を眺めたり、写真に収めたりしていた。
