ベルギーのアントワープで行われている体操の世界選手権、男子団体で日本が優勝し、8年ぶりの金メダルを手にした。

日本は4種目目の跳馬でトップに立つと、最終種目の鉄棒で橋本大輝選手がG難度のカッシーナなど完璧な演技を見せ、着地もピタリと決めてみせた。

橋本大輝選手は任された場面で結構やりきったなという強い気持ちがあるので、本当に今は、みんなで金メダルを取ることができて最高ですと語った。
