川辺の魅力を知ってもらおうと、免許がなくても乗れる小型のボート「ミニタグボート」の試乗会が広島駅近くで行われた。
ミニタグボートに乗った参加者はおよそ10分間、川辺を回遊し、ふだん見ることのできない景色やミニタグボートの操縦などを堪能した。
ミニタグボートを開発した塚本雅彦さんは広島発祥のこの船が広がって全国に笑顔の輪が広がってほしいと語った。
