歌舞伎を題材にした映画「国宝」が公開から2か月余りで実写の日本映画で22年ぶりに100億円を突破した。
この映画は、任きょうの家に生まれた主人公が歌舞伎に人生をささげ、女形として人間国宝に上り詰めるまでの半生を描いた作品だ。
主演の吉沢亮さんは「見てくれた方の人生に寄り添うような、心から大切に思ってもらえるような映画にしたいという思いでこの作品に参加しました。」と語った。
