こたつは、寒い冬に活躍する暖房器具です。
ヒーター付きのテーブルに布団を被せたような形で、中に足を入れて温まります。マンガやアニメなどによく描かれるため、海外でもよく知られています。
一方ヨーロッパはオイルヒーターが主流です。これは日本とヨーロッパの住居の構造や住習慣の違いからくるものです。
