青森県の米軍の三沢基地を拠点に活動し、6月に解散を控えたF16戦闘機のデモンストレーションチームは30日、最後のフライトを公開した。
2025年の夏からF35Aステルス戦闘機に順次置き換える計画で、最後のフライトで、機体は急旋回や急上昇、背面飛行などを見せた。
チームのキャプテン イーサン・スミス大尉は「三沢でさまざまなイベントに参加させていただき本当に光栄で、世界中の皆さんありがとう」と語った。
