キュウリが特産品の福島県須賀川市で毎年7月14日に300年以上開催されている「きうり天王祭」が今年も行われた。
会場の御仮屋（おかりや）に2本のキュウリを供え、護符代わりのキュウリを受け取り、キュウリを持ち帰って食べると、一年間健康に過ごせると言われている。
須賀川市の明松通りに約120の屋台が並ぶ祭りは14日午後10時まで行われ、2025年は5万人以上の来場者を見込んでいる。
