会津若松
会津若松は山脈に囲まれた盆地で、武士の地として知られています。
会津若松の主要観光スポットの多くは、会津ループバス路線に沿ってあります。この路線には会津領主の住んだ鶴ヶ城 などが含まれます。鶴ヶ城は桜の名所で、冬にはキャンドルフェスティバルも開かれます。
藩校日新館では弓道など武士の生活が体験できます。また飯森山には、戊辰戦争で自決した少年藩士の墓や眺めが見晴らしがよいさざえ堂にウォーキングで行けます。
七日町通りは現在大正浪漫を感じられ、観光客が食事や買い物をするのに人気です。味噌田楽やこづゆ、わっぱめしやソースカツ丼等が食べられます。お土産は漆器、赤い牛の張り子、起き上がりする人形、絵付きのろうそく、50年以上続くミルクのお菓子等があります。
会津若松の近くには昔の宿場町が人気の大内宿があり、箸の代わりにネギで食べる蕎麦も有名です。さらには蔵とラーメンの街で名高い喜多方市もあります。どうぞ会津若松に訪れるのを楽しんでください。
