Eニュース2024年8月7日京大画期的鎮痛薬開発

鎮痛薬のモルヒネなどに代わる可能性があるとする、重い副作用がない、鎮痛薬を開発したと京都大学などの研究チームが発表した。
研究チームは、命に危険が及ぶ状況になると、体内で「ノルアドレナリン」という神経伝達物質が分泌されて痛みが抑えられるメカニズムに注目した。
チームの萩原特任教授は「現在の強い依存性の鎮痛薬とは別の選択肢で患者が意識もはっきりして副作用もなく痛みを感じずに過ごせることが願いだ」と話している。
