ロックバンド、GLAYのTAKUROさんが自ら手を挙げ、自身が制作した曲が富山地方鉄道の車内メロディーとして9月1日から流れている。

これは彼自身の曲「Blue Age」で、12月31日まで富山地方鉄道本線の越中舟橋駅に到着するすべての列車内で20秒間流れている。

メロディを流せる権利を購入したTAKUROさんは「音楽を聴いてくれた人に少しでも安らぎを感じてもらいたい、優しい気持ちになってもらいたい」とコメントしている。
