2022年のラーメン消費量が再び日本一になった山形市は市をラーメンの聖地だと宣言した。
調査は都道府県庁所在地と政令指定都市で行われ山形市が年間1万3196円、新潟市、仙台市が続いた。
２１年に新潟市に抜かれるまで、８年連続で首位だった山形市は今後聖地をのぼりの旗などでPRしていく。
