沖縄ハワイ移民125周年と姉妹都市提携40周年の記念行事のため、米ハワイ州知事らは特設ステージを鑑賞した。
特設ステージでは、那覇太鼓とハワイチナグエイサーによる琉球舞踊のほか、フラダンスが披露され、カチャーシーで締めくくった。
ハワイ州知事らは国際通りでの伝統芸能パレードにも参加し、ハワイと沖縄の交流・発展に心を一つにした。
