バスケットボールのレジェンド、マイケル・ジョーダンさんが60歳の誕生日を記念してボランティア団体メイク・ア・ウィッシュに1000万ドル寄付する事を発表した。
メイク・ア・ウィッシュは、難病と闘う2歳から18歳未満の子どもの夢をかなえる活動をする団体で、ジョーダンさんは1989年から関わってきた。
彼は「すべくの子供は夢を叶えられるように他の人が私と一緒にメイク・ア・ウィッシュを支援してくれたら、それが何よりの誕生日プレゼントになる」と語った。
