文化の日
文化の日は11月3日の日本の祝日です。
戦前この日は明治天皇の誕生日で祝日でした。新憲法をいつ公布するかで議論がなされました。
11月1日や5日も候補にあがりましたが、半年後がメーデーや端午の節句にあたるのでふさわしくないとしてこの日に新憲法が公布されました。
法律によれば文化の日の意味は「自由と平和を愛し、文化をすすめる」という事にあります。
この日は皇居で文化勲章が天皇より授与されます。また文化庁主催の芸術祭も行われます。
また国立西洋美術館や国立科学博物館など、日本中の多くの施設で入館料無料になったり様々な催し物が行われます。
また文化の日は気象庁によれば晴れの特異日とされています。100円ショップで日本のコマを買って外で独楽回しをして日本文化を体験してもいいかもしれません。
