沖縄県糸満市の平和祈念公園の広場にフランスのアーティストが平和へのメッセージを込めて描いた巨大な地上絵が25日完成した。
壁を越えてというテーマで描かれた地上絵は、大きさが横幅およそ２００メートル、縦幅が２０メートルほどで人の手が互いの腕を固く握り、つながっているさまを表現している。
木炭や水等で描かれた地上絵の腕にはめられたデジタル時計は、慰霊の日にちなんで６時２３分を示していて、２週間ほど公開される。
