能美市は４月、ＰＲ動画を作成し、登場した観光大使の松井秀喜さんのキャラクター「Ｍｒ．ＭＡＴＳＵＩ」が今回等身大パネルとなって誕生した。
パネルの除幕式には松井秀喜さんご本人も登場され、松井さんのサインも入ったこのパネルは１１日から能美市役所で展示されている。
松井さんは先日彼とともに私も声優デビューさせていただき、その能美市の良さをこれからもＰＲできたらいいなと思い、彼とともに頑張りたいと思いますと語った。
