岩手の風物詩の「チャグチャグ馬コ」は4年ぶりに通常開催され、華やかな装束をまとった馬コが鈴の音を響かせながら練り歩いた。
チャグチャグ馬コは装束をまとった馬が滝沢市の鬼越蒼前神社から盛岡市の盛岡八幡宮までの約14キロを練り歩く。
10日は好天にも恵まれ、盛岡市大通のパレードでは、乗り手が沿道に集まった見物客に向かって馬上から笑顔で手を振り応える光景が見られた。
