真実と事実をめぐる問題が増える今の世の中で、オンライン英語辞典のメリアム・ウェブスターが今年の単語に「authentic（オーセンティック）」を選んだ。
「虚偽や模倣ではない」「自分自身の個性、精神、性格に対して忠実」など複数の意味があるため検索が多いようだ。
ＡＩの台頭によって本物とそうでないものとの境界は薄れ、有名人も企業もＳＮＳのインフルエンサーも、本物であることの証明に神経をとがらせている。
