Eニュース2024年12月23日悲願出島大橋開通

宮城県女川町の出島（いずしま）と本土を結ぶ「出島大橋」が開通し、半世紀にわたる町の悲願に島民は喜びに沸いた。
記念式典が、島と本土の２カ所で同時に開かれ、19日午後３時橋の一般車両の通行が始まり、島に新たな歴史が刻まれた。
震災の時、孤立した島だが橋の開通で町の中心部まで車で１５分で行けるようになり、避難道路としても期待される。
