今回も動物のニュースです。日本語訳載せときます。
南城市のおきなわワールドは今年の干支の「巳」にあわせて13日まで限定で設けられた「白へび神社」への初詣客で賑わいを見せていた。
神社では体長およそ３メートル、体重は４０キロ、ビルマニシキヘビの宝ちゃんの貴重な姿を一目見ようと多くの人が訪れて参拝の列を作っていた。
飼育員の上原桂子さんは「脱皮を繰り返すことで生まれ変わるという意味もあるので、ぜひ今年も良い年になるように、手を合わせて祈ってもらいたいなと思います。」と語った。
