神戸市の兵庫津ミュージアムで開かれているこの特別展で、県に古くから伝わる水辺に潜む妖怪や、その歴史を紹介している。
福崎町のキャラクター、カッパの「ガジロウ」も登場し、大人気のガジロウからサインをもらった子どもたちは大興奮の様子だった。
また、水辺の妖怪を通じて環境問題を考える取り組みも行われて、役割を終えた漁網で小物入れ等を作るワークショップも開かれた。
