大阪・関西万博でも展示され、注目を集めた「人間洗濯機」が、高齢者施設向けに製品化され、報道陣に公開された。
入浴介助の軽減を目指したこの製品の浴槽の中は椅子のようになっていて、中に入るとお湯が入り、体が洗浄される仕組みになっている。
約160万円のこの機械は、お湯に含まれる細かな泡で肌をこすらなくても汚れがとれ、5分～10分程度で入浴を終えられる。
