1月10日、全国の5つの動物園で毎年恒例のカピバラ長風呂対決が行われ、多くの観客がお風呂に入るカピバラ達を応援した。
石川のシータは17秒という衝撃的な記録だったが、那須のこはる、伊豆のトリュフ、埼玉のヘチマは1時間20分以上入浴し健闘した。
1位は長崎バイオパークのぷるーんの1時間45分を越える長風呂で、ファンからは「神すぎる」「癒ししかない」といった声が上がっていた。
