クラーク博士が「ボーイズ・ビー・アンビシャス」の名言を残したとされる北広島の旧「島松駅逓所」に銅像が設置された。

像は札幌農学校の初代教頭・クラーク博士が山高帽を右手に掲げフロックコート姿で馬に乗り最後の挨拶する姿だ。

クラーク博士のやしゃご グランヴィル・クラーク・シーウェルさんは「クラーク博士の精神を維持してくださっている皆さんにお礼を申し上げたい」と除幕式で語った。
