8月27日と28日の二日間、沖縄のうるま市で３年ぶりにエイサー祭りが行われた。
エイサーは沖縄や奄美で行われる伝統芸能で、お盆の時期に帰ってくる祖先の霊を送迎するために行われる。
与那城総合公園では華やかな服を着た出演者達が「パーランクー」という太鼓を手に舞い踊った。
