三条市の農産物直売所『ただいまーと』の特設売り場で販売されているのが“難関突破米”と長岡市特産“大口れんこん”だ。
この“難関突破米”は通常より大きい2mmのふるい目にかけても落ちなかった縁起物で受験生を後押ししようと、毎年販売されている。
“大口レンコン”は開いた穴から「明るい未来が見通せる」というもので、関係者は「“食べるお守り”で試験に臨んでほしい」と話している。
