愛媛県松山市の新スローガン「幸せになろう。」をテーマに募集したメッセージは、全国からおよそ5700作品が寄せられた。
大賞に選ばれたのは、済美平成中等教育学校の教諭、杉野航洋さんの作品『先生、本日も教室は賑やかです。』で賞状や盾が手渡された。
審査員長を務めた小説家の敷村良子さんは、「短く力強い一文で、広がりや含みのあるいいフレーズだった」と評価した。
