10月3日、宮城県白石市では恒例の「第19回鬼小十郎まつり」 が開かれ、会場にはおよそ8千人の観客が集まった。

この祭りは「鬼小十郎」の異名をとる白石城城主の片倉小十郎重長と真田幸村が火花を散らした大坂夏の陣での合戦を再現している。

白石城本丸広場を舞台に、両軍合わせて120人を超える甲冑武者が迫力ある合戦を繰り広げ、観客は白熱した戦いに拍手を送っていた。
