あんこう鍋はアンコウという魚を主な具材とした鍋料理です。
あんこうは主に海底にとどまっている深海魚で、大きく身が柔らかいのが特徴です。またあんこうは「東のあんこう、西のふぐ」と称される高級魚でもあります。
茨城県や福島県いわき市の鍋料理として、あんこう鍋は有名です。特にどぶ汁というアンコウの肝臓をスープに溶かして作る鍋は、北茨木市、日立市、大洗町の名物です。
