七夕
七夕は日本の行事の一つです。
中国の伝説に天の川を挟んで織姫と彦星が1年で唯一会える日というものがあります。日本では短冊に願い事を書いて笹につるす風習があります。
七夕は奈良時代に中国から伝わってきたとされ、当時は皇族の宮中行事として行われていました。
その後、中国と日本の風習がいくつか重なり、今の七夕の形になったのは江戸時代です。地域によって旧暦の8月に七夕が行われる所もあります。
七夕を祭るイベントが各地で行われます。日本三大七夕は宮城の仙台、神奈川の平塚、愛知の安城です。これらに加え、愛知の一宮の祭りも100万人以上の観客です。
織姫の星はベガで彦星はアルタイルです。仙台のサッカーチームはこの二つにちなんで名づけられました。
7月7日はそうめんの日でもあります。なのでどうぞ短冊に願いを書いてそうめんを食べて下さい。
