登別温泉
登別温泉は、北海道登別市にある温泉です。自然湧出量は1日1万トンで9種類の泉質があるため、登別温泉は「温泉のデパート」と呼ばれ有名です。
登別の地名の語源はアイヌ語の「ヌプル・ペツ」（水色の濃い川）に由来しています。
登別温泉には地獄谷と呼ばれる源泉エリアがあって見ものです。
地獄谷にちなんで、地獄にいると考えられている鬼やその元締めの閻魔大王の像が温泉の各地にあります。また近くには丸い湖や足湯を楽しめる川もあります。
足を延ばせば不凍湖で有名な支笏湖や洞爺湖もあります。アイヌ民族の国立施設や江戸時代のテーマパークもあって両社は英語パンフレットもダウンロードできます。
お土産には鬼や閻魔大王の付いたビールやカレーやラーメンや飴などもあります。辛いのが多いですが鬼の持つ鉄棒のチョコバーはあまいです。登別で温泉や食べ物、色んな観光地や体験を楽しんで下さい。
