ドキュメンタリー写真家のエリー・ハンビーさんと医師で講師のサンディ・ヘイズリップさんの二人の81歳のテキサス女性は８０日間世界各地を訪れ、旅の様子をブログで報告した。
８０歳を迎えた昨年は新型コロナウイルス感染拡大の影響で中止したが、８１歳でも旅行中をテーマに、２人は今年実行した。
ヘイズリップさんによれば８１歳はこの旅に「ぴったりの年」だった。賢明な判断を下し、美しい風景に心から浸ることができるのも、年を重ねたおかげだと話す。
