角館
角館は、秋田県仙北市にある国の重要伝統的建造物群保存地区のことです。
角館は北側を武士の居住区、南側を町人の居住地としていて、それぞれの歴史的建造物が残っています。
武家屋敷は80あまりあり、青柳家や石黒家など江戸時代の日本の住宅建築の最高例を鑑賞できます。
町人地区には印象的なレンガ造りの安藤醸造があり、150年以上同じ製法で製造された味噌と醤油もあります。
また角館は桜の名所としても有名です。川の土手や武家屋敷できれいな桜が楽しめます。また城跡の高台からの眺めも素晴らしいです。
角館の近くには水深日本一の田沢湖があり、遊覧船を楽しめます。玉川温泉や乳頭温泉なども有名です。
角館では山の芋鍋や山椒入りのみそ焼き、大豆粉の伝統的なお菓子が食べられます。お土産には桜の皮で作った伝統工芸品もあります。どうぞ角館に来てください。
