文楽
文楽とは、大阪で成立し本拠地とする人形浄瑠璃のことです。
人形浄瑠璃は、語り手の太夫と三味線弾き、そして人形遣いの三者が一体となって表現する舞台芸術で、江戸時代から続く、日本を代表する伝統芸能の1つです。20世紀初めから人形浄瑠璃を文楽と呼ぶことも出てきました。
文楽は2009年ユネスコの無形文化遺産に登録されました。
文楽の作品には、江戸時代より前の歴史上の人物や事件をもとに物語を描いた時代物、江戸時代の庶民の生活をもとに描いた世話物、舞踊劇などの音楽性豊かな景事があります。
文楽は竹本義太夫が創始した義太夫節という節回しで、三味線を伴奏として物語が語られます。その義太夫節にあわせて人形使い三人が一つの人形を動かします。
文楽協会では英語などのパンフレットがダウンロードできます。ユーチューブでも文楽の英語字幕の動画をみられます。
文楽協会は気軽に文楽が見られるよう外国人向けの安く短いチケットも用意しています。また英語イヤホンガイドも有料で借りられます。どうぞ文楽を見るのを楽しんで下さい。
