大手牛丼チェーンの吉野家などが日本で初めて石川県小松市でドローンでのデリバリーの実験を実店舗を使って行った。
牛丼弁当が４つ入った箱をドローンにセットすると約２．５キロ離れた木場潟のカヌー場まで約６分で牛丼が運ばれた。
吉野家の河村社長はドローンの方が圧倒的に速く温かい状態でお届けすることができるので、そういう意味でもドローンによるデリバリーというのは大いに期待していると語った。
