ウクライナが開発した防護マントは、ロシアの熱探知カメラやそれを搭載したドローンから身を守ることができ、兵士の安全性が高まることが期待される。
さらに、このマントは軽量で持ち運びしやすく、また燃えにくく高温にも耐えるため優れた耐久性を発揮し実際の軍事作戦でも有効であることが確認されている。
フェドロフ副首相は、透明マントは軍隊の安全性と能力を高めウクライナ兵の命を守ることを目的とした、数ある進歩のひとつと言明した。
