博多の総鎮守・櫛田神社に、大お多福面が頭や目、口に分けて運び込まれ、氏子や神職などが作業を行い、１時間ほどで飾り付けを終えた。

櫛田神社の大お多福面は高さ５．３メートル、幅５メートルと日本一大きなお多福面で、６０年以上前から節分に合わせて正面の楼門に飾り付けている。

お多福の大きな口をくぐると、商売繁盛や家内安全などのご利益があるといわれていて、早速、参拝客が続々とくぐっていた。
